Is a formal discussion of ideas in a convincing will.

2. Defference between debate and discussion:

 A Debate is a form of formal discussion that involves argumentation between two people or groups and most of the time it follow some rules while Discussion is an exchange of opinions and ideas.

3.Debate strategies

in a debate you always have to:

·         think as you were your judge, not yourself;

·         think always comparatively

·         refer to your evidence whenever possible;

·         don’t forget that a debate is a team activity.

4.Purpose of a debate

in a debate, the debaters always attempt to persuade the listeners and the other  side that their point of view is correct.
